HELP! RIU Palace Cancun wedding.. - The PASH Wedding Forums and Message Boards

If anyone has done a wedding through RIU Palace or is in the process of, PLLLLLEEEEASE contact me via email or on here. I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm doing, lol.

Hi Kate,

Yes, I know from personal experience that RIU resort's wedding program is not the easiest to work with with. We even stopped suggesting their resorts for weddings over a year ago because of all the problems. There was on issue in 2007 where the event was available, we booked it and got a confirmation code. Then about 10 days later we get an email from them stating that the date and time where no longer available and actually that whole week was not. Sorry but that was not an easy call to make to a client because it looked bad on us, not the RIU resorts. That is why we work with professional resorts that do not give us that concern. But we need to know what is your concern so we can can help.

I am glad to see a reply concerning this particular resort. I had a client that was interested in a Mexico DW and I was looking at them. I have never worked with them prior and needed that feedback.
